Obituary of Eleanor Collins

Eleanor "Dolly" Edna Margaret COLLINS, age 94, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, died April 8, 2009, at �Willowbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lake Mills, WI. �Eleanor was born in Cudahy, Wisconsin on February 4, 1915, the daughter of Harry and Nora (Funk) Roosenbeek.� Dolly went to work for Mr. Ray Collins in Cudahy, where she meet and married his son, Richard "Dick" A. Collins.� The couple were married in Waukegan, Illinois on April 28, 1932.� With the help of Dick's father and a close friend of the family, Emory Clark the owner of the Clark Super Gas Stations, the couple moved to Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin where they owned Clark Super Gas Station, and later Collins Gas. They resided for 41 years in the house on Madison Ave right next to the gas station. Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard, daughter, DeAnne, and Brother, Harry James Van Roosenbeek.� �Surviving are: Son: Dennis R. "Corky" (Beverly) Collins, Fort Atkinson, WI, Granddaughters: Cheryl, Lori , Leanne , and Terri, �8 Great-Grandchildren ,and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren and a brother: Earl Van Roosenbeek, Texas.. �Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2009, at 10:30AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Fort Atkinson, Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. �The family would like to extend a special thank you to Willowbrook Nursing Home and their staff for the care they gave Dolly.
