Obituary of Dorothy Sarah Kadlec

Dorothy Sarah Kadlec, age 86, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at the Golden Living Center, Fort Atkinson, WI.� Dorothy was born in LaGrange Township, WI on May 25, 1922 to Myrtle (Richards) and Robert Harris.� She married Clark Dempsey in 1938.� In 1970, Dorothy married Anton Kadlec.� She worked for many years for Whitewater Electronics and then worked for Fairhaven, Inc.� Dorothy was a faithful member of the Whitewater Bible Church. Dorothy enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and great grandchildren and making afghans for every member of the family.� What her family will remember most is her laughter and big family gatherings and picnics. Surviving are: Daughter: Dorothy (David) Traxler, Whitewater, Wi, Son: Clark (Janice) Dempsey, Columbia, MO, Daughter: Suzanne (Richard) Johnson, Milton, WI, Daughter: Cheryl(Terry) Renz, Fort Atkinson, WI. Grandchildren: Paul (Tricia) Traxler, Timothy (Beth) Traxler, Julia (Tim) Vehrs, Michael (Kim) Traxler,� Daniel Dempsey, Regina (Corey) Lundberg, Troy Dempsey, and Robb (Laurie) Dempsey, Peter Johnson, Paul Johnson, Pam (Russ) Lietz , Polly (Ben) Scherwitz, Amy (Craig) Sharlow, Jeremy Renz, Allison (Eric Mueller, fianc�) Renz� There are 27 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Lydia, and 3 brothers; Lyle, Donald and William. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2009, at 1:00pm. at the Whitewater Bible Church, 511 W High St, Whitewater, WI with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, located in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.� Friends may call on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 from 6-8pm at the NITARDY FUNERAL HOME, 550 N. Newcomb St.., Whitewater, WI and on Thursday at the church from 12:00pm until the time of the service. Dorothy's son, Rev. Clark S. Dempsey will be officiating. Several members of the family will be participating through music.
