Obituary of John Francis Long

John F. Long, age 71, of Deerfield, WI died May 8, 2009 at Hospice Care Inc. in Fitchburg, WI.� John was born September 19, 1937 in Delavan, WI to Edward W. and Mary (Bangs) Long.� He served his country in the U.S. Navy for 22 years from 1954 until he retired in 1986. John was married in February 1959 to Patricia Williamson, who preceeded him in death on December 26, 1965.� On September 5, 1970 he married Carolyn Ray.� �Surviving are: daughter: Kim ( Danny )Coleman, of Mauston, WI ; and three sons: John Long, of Phoenix, AZ, Russell ( Herminia ) Long, of Edinburgh, TX, and David ( Staci ) Long, of Deerfield, WI; six grandchildren; one sister, Maggie Long; one brother, Jim Long, and several nieces and nephews. ��John was preceeded in death by his parents; his first wife, Pat Long; 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. �Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at 7:30pm at Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Cambridge, WI.� Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00pm until the time of service.
