Obituary of Barbara L. Kramer

Barbara L. Kramer, age 56, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away at home on May 19, 2009, after a brave battle with lung cancer.� Barbara Lee was born on July 8, 1952, daughter of Albion "Ole" and Dolores (Goke) Olson.� She graduated from Platteville High School and the Madison General School of Nursing in Madison, Wisconsin.� Barbara was united in marriage to Terry Kramer on November 25, 1972, in Platteville, Wisconsin. �She worked for many years at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital where she was highly respected by her colleagues. Barbara was an outstanding nurse and wonderful wife and mother.� Barbara loved her family, friends, books, and her garden.� She will be deeply missed. �She is survived by her husband, Terry Kramer, of Fort Atkinson; son, Jason Kramer, of Madison; and daughter, Bethany (Shawn) Boom, of Fort Atkinson. �She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ronald Olson. �Per Barb's wishes, no formal services will be held.� Memorials may be made in Barbara's name to Dwight Foster Public Library, or to Rainbow Hospice in Jefferson, Wisconsin.
