Obituary of Dorothy I Westoby

Dorothy I. Westoby, age 92, of Cambridge, died suddenly on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital. �Dorothy was born June 15, 1916 to Olaf and Jennie (Kohl) Rindahl in Cambridge, WI. In 1933 she married Fred Holten, and later in life on March 28, 1959 she married Arthur H. Westoby at Willerup United Methodist Church. �Dorothy's only child, Ronald F. Holten was killed in a tragic car accident in 1976. �Surviving are: step-son: James (Joyce) Westoby, of Hartland; daughter-in-law: Ann Holten, of Deforest; 3 grandchildren: Kim Holten, Wayne Holten, and Cindy Laage; 2 step-grandchildren: Lisa Pepin and Julie Muth; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; sisters: Judith Jacobson, Patricia New, Geneva Rindahl, Audrey Kravik, and Ruby Bouma; brothers: John Rindahl, and Aubrey Rindahl, all of Cambridge; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.� �Preceding her in death are her parents; husbands, Art and Fred; son, Ronald; 2 sisters: Jeanette Anderson and Marcella Yago; and 3 brothers: Olaf (Bill), and twins, Walter and Willard Rindahl. �Family and friends may call at Willerup United Methodist Church, 414 W. Water St. Cambridge at 10am until the time of service at 11am on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, with Pastor Brian Cook officiating.� Burial will follow in Rockdale Cemetery.� In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Willerup Church Building Fund in her memory.
