Obituary of Edward William Wiederhoeft

Edward William Wiederhoeft, age 91, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital.� Edward was born on December 31, 1917, in the Town of Stettin, Marathon County, Wisconsin.� He was the son of William and Edna (Marquardt) Wiederhoeft.� At age six his family moved to a farm in the Town of Frankfort where he received his education at the Franklin School. �On September 29, 1940, Edward was united in marriage to Verona Arletta Huebner at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield, Wisconsin.� Together they operated the family farm for 33 years.� During that time he also graded roads and plowed snow for the Frankfort Township.� Edward worked for the Township full time after selling the family farm in 1973.� After retiring, he continued to work for the Township part time until he and his wife moved to Jefferson, Wisconsin, in 2003. �Edward attended Peace Lutheran Church, Town of Frankfort, for 80 years.� He sang in the choir; was a deacon and church treasurer, and served as custodian for many years.� He became a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson in 2003. �He is survived by three sons; Warren (Virginia) Roseville, CA; Ardell (Sandra) Fort Atkinson, WI; William (Jean) Anapolis, Brazil; six grandchildren; Laura (Michael) Murphy Roseville, CA; Richard Wiederhoeft Sante, CA; Kristine (Terry) Hoffman Oregon, WI; Janice (Eric) Rasmussen Allenton, WI; Marie Wiederhoeft Charlotte, NC���� Mark (Jenny) Wiederhoeft Warrensburg, MO.� He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and a sister, Victoria Emenecker, Columbia, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his wife (2005), his parents and one granddaughter Regina Wiederhoeft. �Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at 6:30 PM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Atkinson, WI with Rev. Bryan Engfer officiating. �Friends may call from 5:00 to 6:30 PM on Wednesday at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson until the services. ��Funeral services will also be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009, at 3:00PM at Peace Lutheran Church in rural Edgar, WI with Rev.
