Obituary of Christopher A. Sowles

Christopher A SOWLES, age 31, of �Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2009, at his home surrounded by his loving family after his battle with cancer. Christopher was born in Janesville, Wisconsin on September 4, 1977, the son of Ronald and Katherine (Wille) Sowles.� He graduated from Milton High School in 1996. On February 7, 2003, Chris married Kelly Wendorf at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson. Chris worked as a preserving technician at Nasco in Fort Atkinson. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Surviving are: Wife: Kelly Sowles, Fort Atkinson, WI, Sons: Anthony John, Morgan Christopher and Benjamin Daniel Sowles, Parents: Ronald and Katherine Sowles, Milton, WI, Grandmother: Cecelia Sowles, Janesville, WI, Brother: Jason (Carla) Sowles, Elmhurst, IL, Sister: Kelly Jo (Allen) Herbst, Janesville, WI, Parents-in-Law: John and Sarah Wendorf, Beaver Dam, WI, and Brother-in-Law: Joseph (Jennifer) Wendorf, Beaver Dam, WI.� He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. �Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Norman and Dorothy Wille and his paternal grandfather, Robert Sowles. �A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson, Wisconsin with Father Thomas Coyle celebrating.� Burial will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Janesville, Wisconsin �Friends may call from 4-8PM on Monday, June 15, 2009 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson and after 9:30AM on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the church until Mass. �Memorials may be given to a trust fund for Chris' children that has established at the Premier Bank in Fort Atkinson. �The family extends a special thank you to Rainbow Hospice and The St. John the Baptist Parish Family, and Jane Renz, parish nurse, for going above and beyond in her care of our family.
