Obituary of Joyce Elaine Petitt

Joyce Elaine Petitt, age 67, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital, in Fort Atkinson, WI. Joyce was born July 25, 1941 to Leonard and Vera (Stavn) Skogen in Clinton, Wisconsin. She married Daniel Petitt on October 21, 1978 at the Millard Community Church. Joyce was employed at Fairhaven Retirement Community in Whitewater for over 14 years. She was also a member of the Millard Community Church for 38 years. Surviving are: Husband; Daniel Petitt, Whitewater, WI, Son; Samuel(Cindy) Porter, Dale City, VA, Son; Matthew Porter, Whitewater, WI, Grandchildren; Samuel Jr., Nicholas, Emillie, Zachary, Zoe and Anthony Porter, Sister; Betty Hanson, Whitewater, WI, Sister; Donna(Mark) Gille, Janesville, WI. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at 11:00am at the Millard Community Church. Friends may call on Monday, June 22, 2009 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 N. Newcomb St., Whitewater, WI from 5-7pm and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00am until the time of the service.
