To Frank's Family,
I was very sorry to learn of Frank's death. The news caused me to dig out a school photo from Congo School in 1952. This was the year that Frank ('Fran' to me in those days) and his family moved next door to the school and increased our class size from two (myself and Georgia Snudden) to three. I see Fran and I standing next to each other, and remember a kind and gentle and humorous playmate. We have not seen each other much since our childhood. But we did meet again two years ago for a class reunion, and I was pleased to see that the kindness, gentleness and humor remained intact. I know that you will miss those gifts from your lives, but hope you can relish them in your memories, as I can from the photo of a neat kid in 1952.
