Obituary of Bernice Constance Langholff

Bernice Constance LANGHOLFF, age 91, of Jefferson, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2009, in Garland, Texas. Bernice was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 10, 1918 the daughter of Constentine and Angela (Bratonic) Kovshak in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She married Elmer Langholff on April 9, 1939 in Jefferson WI. Bernice worked in the mailroom at Badger Press for almost 20 years, she also worked at Copeland Rider Shoe Factory, Rindfliesch Hatchery and helped with bookkeeping for her son's trucking business. Bernice was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Jefferson, WI. She enjoyed reading, needlework, art, gardening and birdwatching. Surviving are: Son: Phillip Langholff, Garland, TX, Son: Paul (Linda) Langholff, Fort Atkinson, WI, Daughter: Barbara Gross, Jefferson, WI, Daughter: Susan (John) Vogel, Jefferson, WI, Son: Stephen (Robin) Langholff, Carl Junction, MO, Sister: Josephine Husman, Seymour, WI, Grandchildren: 19 Grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Elmer, brother-in-law; Bill Husman, granddaughter; Elizabeth Gross and a grandson; Matthew Morris. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at 11:00AM at the St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Jefferson, Wisconsin with Rev. Wayne Mueller offficiating. Burial will be in the Hebron Cemetery, Town of Hebron, Wisconsin. Friends may call from 5-7PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson and after 10:00AM on Wednesday at the church until the services.
