Anna Lee Gross age 92 years, passed away on February 2, 2018 late at night at Rainbow Hospice Care in Johnson Creek, WI. She was born on June 15, 1925 to parents Rosa and Morten Blythe. She was the 5th child of a family of eight, five daughters and one son by Morten and Rosa Blythe. All preceded Anna in death, even her younger sister Bernice. The other members of the Blythe family were Eula, Helen, Hazel, and John "Budd" (the one son.) Anna's physical life started on June 15, 1925. Her spiritual life started in the fall of 1947 when she was "visited" by the angelic manifestation of Christ Jesus Himself during a devastating experience which drove her to her knees in a desperate cry to God to save her from what had just transpired in her broken life. God not only answered, but he in angelic form appeared to her and said "I am sorry to have put you through all of that, but it was necessary to bring you to my feet. From now on I will lead you and guide you!" Anna reached out to touch him, but he disappeared through the locked door. The outcome of that first visitation is history and all written in her book entitled "A Church is Born." Anna's immediate survivors are he husband Gene of 68 plus years of marriage. Anna and Gene were married on March 19, 1949. Two children: Steven 68 of Viroqua, WI and Kathy 66 of Fort Atkinson, WI (Retiring to "Fort" since 1961); grandchildren (via Steven) Aaron (Brittany) and their children Kyli, Bexli, Merci, Stephen, and Jasmine and Theresa all of Ohio. Anna and Gene have resided in Fort Atkinson for 56 years, a city Anna loved to be a part of and she felt she had been lead here by God's plan for her and her family's faith life. Funeral Services were held at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Atkinson, WI with Rev. David Punzel officiating. Burial followed at the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, WI.
