Obituary of John Wilfred Watson

John Wilfred WATSON, age 65, of Cambridge, Wisconsin, left for his heavenly home on Thursday, August 27, 2009. John was born in Orlando, Florida on July 24, 1944, the son of Wilfred and Marjorie (Story) Watson. He graduated from high school in Oceanside, California in 1962. John served his country in the U.S. Airforce from 1963 until 1966. John worked at the VA Hospital for 38 years and had many special friends. John met Alice C. Egan in 1970 in Oceanside, California and they returned and were married in Wisconsin in 1972. John and Alice have resided in Cambridge for 35 years. He was a member of the Willerup United Methodist Church in Cambridge. John was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing poker and loved spending time with his family. John had a love of God and was a very kind and gentle man who devoted his life to his wife and making her happy. �Surviving are: Wife: Alice C. Sister: Tony Kilgore, Brother: Bud (Nancy) Sewell, Sister: Lollie (George) O�Neill, Sister-in-laws: Luzetta (Duane) Mickelson, Mary (Garbis) Dimijion, Marcy (Timothy) Gorski and Darlene Egan, Brother-in-Law: John (Jan) Egan, Mother-in-law: Iva Egan, and Many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his father and mother and his aunt, Alice O'Keefe. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at 12:00PM at the Willerup United Methodist Church, Cambridge, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 11:00AM on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the church until the services. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge is assisting the family
