Obituary of Marilynn Claire Winn

Marilynn C. Winn (nee Antilla), 86, of Whitewater, WI, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009 at Fairhaven in Whitewater. She was born in Chicago, Il on Aug. 19, 1923, daughter of Florence (Forsell) and Harvey Antilla. While attending Wisconsin State Teacher�s College in Whitewater, she met and married Matthew F. Winn on May 27, 1944. They recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary surrounded by family and friends. Marilynn was the Hot Lunch program supervisor for the Whitewater Unified School District for over 25 years. She was a charter member of the same bridge club for over 50 years. Marilynn was an active member of St. Patrick�s church in Whitewater and took a lead role in organizing various fundraising events for many years. She is survived by her husband Matt; five children; Susan Winn of Milwaukee, WI; Dr. Jeff (Susie) Winn of Ft. Atkinson, WI; John (Margaret) Winn of Oshkosh, WI; Harvey (Ginger) of Waunakee, WI; Debbie (Mike) McCluskey of Mazomanie, WI, eight grandchildren, Matt (Kristen) Winn; Katie (David) Knabel; Clarissa Winn (fianc� Mike); Megan (Joel) Mulder; Sari Winn; Patrick (Sheila) Winn; Jay Winn and Molly (Bob) Schaar; her sister Phyllis Bell of Sandwich, IL; five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends who loved dearly. Visitation will take place at Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 N. Newcomb St., Whitewater from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, Sept. 17. Visitation will also take place from 10:00 to 11:00 am, with funeral Mass at 11:00 at St. Patrick�s Church, 1235 W. Main St., Whitewater, WI on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery immediately following the Mass. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick�s Renovation Fund.
