Obituary of Delores M. Snodie

Delores M SNODIE, age 81, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at the Golden Living Center, in Fort Atkinson, WI. Delores was born on May 26, 1928 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles and Rosa (Polinsky) Lenz. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1945. On September 21, 1946, Delores married Charles B. Snodie in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Delores was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson. Delores was always there for anyone who needed her. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, traveling and camping. Surviving are: Husband: Charles B. �Chuck� Snodie, Fort Atkinson, WI, Two Daughters: Beverly Helle, Jefferson, WI and Barbara (Bob) Werner, Fort Atkinson, WI, Grandchildren: Debbie (Don McDermott) Miller, Jefferson, WI, James (Ava) O� Neil, Jefferson, WI and Dana Rusch, Fort Atkinson, WI, Great-Grandchildren: Michelle Miller, Karolina O�Neil, and Cade and Luke Rusch, Brother: Dan Lenz, Fort Atkinson, WI and Sister: Adelle Mepham, Jefferson, WI. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, a son David, a daughter Kimberly, two brothers: Corliss and Charles and two sisters: Irene and Goldie. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2009, at 2:30PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson with Rev. Bryan Engfer officiating. Inurnment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 1:30PM on Saturday at the church until the services.
