Obituary of Irene Marie Lemke

Irene Marie LEMKE, age 85, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2009, at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. Irene was born in Crandon, Wisconsin on April 30, 1924, the daughter of Charles Thomas and Sarah Elizabeth (Lambert) Howard. On November 25, 1955, Irene married Eugene L. Lemke. Eugene preceded her in death on April 2, 2006. Irene worked as a certified nurses assistant at Countryside Home in Jefferson for almost 30 years. She loved her cats, always had a smile on her face, took care of many others and loved to cook. �Surviving are: Sons: Lloyd Lemke, Scott Lemke, Dennis Kincaid, Timothy Kincaid, and Howard (Cheryl) Kincaid, Daughter: Sandra (Russell) Asbury Jr., Sister: Viola "Chris" Shoop, Grandchildren: Michael Kincaid, Brittany Lemke, Denise Lemke, Russell Asbury III, John, Timothy, Peter and Jay Kincaid, Kelly Streib, April Kloskey, Jessica and Jason Lyons, Sarah and Todd Kloskey and Joel Kincaid, Great-Grandchildren: Kodey Kincaid, Ben Kloskey, Payton and Casey Lyons and Tyra Irene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers: Ned and Orea and her sisters: Bertha, Ada, Ethel and Elsie. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at 11:00AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Whitewater, Wisconsin with Rev. Terese Leonhard officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, located in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 9:30AM on Wednesday at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater until the services.
