Obituary of Michael Paul Dahnert

Michael Paul DAHNERT, age 54, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2009, at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital, in Fort Atkinson. Michael was born in Fort Atkinson on January 21, 1955, the son of Arthur and Gladys (Crandall) Dahnert. He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1973. He was a dairy farmer in the Whitewater area. Mike loved to cook, work in the garden and loved sports. Surviving are: Mother: Gladys Dahnert, Peoria, AZ, Brother: Robert (June) Dahnert, DeForest, WI, Brother: Gerald (Cathy) Dahnert, Phoenix, AZ, Sister: Diana Dahnert, Rockford, IL, Brother: Tom Dahnert, Peoria, AZ, and Sister: Cindy (Bret) May, Fort Atkinson, WI. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his father and brothers: Dick and James. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 5, 2009, at 11:00AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin with Rev. A.S. Christensen officiating. Private Family Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin at a later date. Friends may call from 4-7PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson and after 10:00AM on Thursday until the services.
