Linda and Family, there are no words to describe our feelings when we learned of Ron's passing. It's a good thing I am always sitting down. Nylene was almost in shock and was in bed playing Sudoku when I told her and her face turned white. Barbara Larson gave us the news. Ron was, as you are, a true friend. We think about our old neighborhood of your family, Kendell, Yeagers, Millers, and treasure those memories. When Ron lost that weight and started riding his bicycle to work and exercising, I admired him more than I already did. What a self-made man he was. I still can't believe some of the things he built and I don't believe there was anything he wouldn't or couldn't tackle. He helped us several times with our computer and refused any recompense. Linda and family, we would love to have you stay with us if you ever get out this way. We are about 30 miles north of Salt Lake City and about an hour from every major ski area in Utah. We have 5 bedrooms and would love to have you if you decide to take a break. If we had known sooner, we would have assuredly attended services tomorrow. Please accept our deepest sympathy.
Your friends, Ron & Nylene Douglas

I had the privilege of knowing Ron through activities at Twin Oaks airport. Although I had not known Ron for very long, it was a surprise how much his passing has affected me (and my wife Janice). Thinking back though, it's obvious that his warm, generous and trusting ways were qualities that we should always aspire to. I know I speak for all in the hang gliding club who knew Ron,
"you will be missed."

Linda, Jessica, Christopher, and Patrick,
What a wonderful man Ron was. When I saw his picture I instantly see Uncle Bob and Aunt Dottie. They were such generous, loving people. Ron was blessed with a wonderful family growing up, great parents along with wonderful brother. Again he was blessed with marrying the beautiful Linda and raising his own great kids. If there is comfort to be gotten at this sad time it is in knowing he lived his life surrounded with much love and happiness and he lived life to the fullest.

I am so sorry for your loss. May "the God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God's Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.
