Obituary of Norman Hansen

Norman HANSEN, age 82, of Whitewater, Wisconsin,died Friday, November 27, 2009, at the Fairhaven Retirement Community, in Whitewater, WI. Norman was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 26, 1927, the son of Knud and Magda (Anderson) Hansen. On November 2, 1950, Norman married Jeanette Ila Cox in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Norman worked for General Motors in Janesville for 30 years. He raised pigeons for over 50 years and enjoyed motorcycling.Norman was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Kenneth Hansen and a sister Ellen Brushaber. Surviving are: Wife: Jeanette Hansen, Whitewater, WI, Son; Michael Hansen, Waukesha, WI. Son; Norman (Gloria) Hansen Jr., Fort Wayne, IN., Son; Jeffrey (Debbie) Hansen, Phoenix, AZ., Son; Dennis Hansen, Whitewater, Son; Steve (Renee) Hansen, Janesville, WI., Thirteen Grandchildren and Two Great-Grandchildren, Brothers; Leo (Audrey) Hansen of Janesville, WI., Lloyd Hansen of Whitewater, Vernon (Donna Lee) Hansen of Washington State and Sister; Esther Freix of the state of Virginia. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at 11:00am at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 550 N. Newcomb St., Whitewater, WI 53190 with burial in the Hillside Cemetery, located in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10am until the time of the services.
