Obituary of Lyle Willard Morrow

Lyle Willard MORROW, age 91, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2009, at the Golden Living Center, in Fort Atkinson, WI. Lyle was born in the Town of East Troy, Wisconsin on February 12, 1918, the son of Willard and Pearl (Holzworth) Morrow. Lyle served his country in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during WWII. �Surviving are: Brother: Robert (Nancy) Morrow, Whitewater, WI. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters: Carol Carnes, Elaine Tabat-Schnitger, Lucille Glaznap, Joyce Streich and Ione Kreiser and two brothers: Duane and Wilfred Morrow. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, December 20, 2009, at 2:00PM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Whitewater, Wisconsin with Rev. Steven Hanson officiating. Military rites will follow the services. Burial will be in the Little Prairie Cemetery, Town of Troy, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 1:00PM on Sunday at the funeral home until the services. The family would like to thank the staff at the VA Hospital, the staff at Golden Living and the Fort Memorial Hospital ER staff for the care they gave Lyle.
