Obituary of Grace Darlene Flusch

Darlene �Dee� FLUSCH, age 72, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2010, at her home on Lake Koshkonong. Dee was born in Douglas Wyoming on March 3, 1937, the daughter of George Edward and Ida Marie (Euler) Deuel Sr. On March 15, 1958, Dee was untied in marriage with Hollies Flusch in Laramie, Wyoming. Hollies preceded her in death on September 22, 1998. Dee has resided in Fort Atkinson since 1998, but had been coming to Lake Koshkonong since 1986. She loved living the lake life; watching the birds, wildlife, and activities on the lake. Dee had worked as a bookkeeper and office manager from 1955 until her retirement in 1996. Dee was a member of the Gathering Place Senior Center in Milton and a member of the Blue Notes Chorus. She was also a member of Shalom Presbyterian Church in Fort Atkinson and served as church treasurer and served on several church committees. She enjoyed playing bunco and dominoes with friends. Surviving are: Daughter: Dianne Flusch, Lynne, MO, Two Sons: Dwayne Flusch, Monroe Center, IL, and: Dennis (Tina) Flusch, Sterling, IL, Two Granddaughters: Jaice Flusch, Sycamore, IL and Karrie Hetchler, Dekalb, IL, Two Sisters: Betty Harris, Atlanta, GA, and Ruth Wiggam, Denver, CO, Niece: Debbie Smith, Russellville, Ark., and her animals: Cody and Cassie. Dee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sisters; Evelyn Anderson and Dolores Dugan and two brothers; George E. Deuel Jr and Daryl Deuel. Funeral Services will be held, on Thursday, January 7, 2010, at 2:00PM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin with Rev. Terese Leonhard officiating. Friends may call after 12:00PM on Thursday at the funeral home until the services.
