Obituary of Rene' Philip Stoll
Rene� Philip Stoll, age 78, of Janesville/Whitewater, WI, died Wednesday,� January 6, 2010 at Mercy Hospital, Janesville surrounded by his loving family.
�
Rene was born on May 21, 1931 in Oak Park, IL to Philip J. and Henrietta (Wunder) Stoll.� He graduated from Crane Technical High School in Chicago in June of 1949.� Rene proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps, seeing duty in Korea in 1951-1952.
On February 20, 1954 he married the love of his life Isabelle J. Crane in Chicago at St. Barnabus Episcopal Church.� Rene retired in 1994 after more than 25 years working with Kadisak Tile, McHenry, IL.� He was a master craftsman who took great pride in his work.� His talents were well recognized in his field and were highly sought after.� He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to camp, fish, and hunt.� He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
�Surviving are his wife, Isabelle, of Janesville; his son Karl P. (Susan) Stoll and their daughters Renee and Emily, of Whitewater; his son Eric J. Stoll of Park Falls; and his daughter Lisa M. (David) Kroeger of Lindenhurst, IL.
�He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant daughter, Yvonne Marie Stoll.
�A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 11,2010 at 7pm at Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Whitewater, WI with Rev. David Kalas officiating.� Visitation will be from 4pm until the time of service.
