Obituary of Corinne Edwards Earle

Corinne Edwards EARLE, age 88, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Fairhaven in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Corinne was born in Whitewater, Wisconsin on June 14, 1921, the daughter of John Arthur and Cossette (Hicock) Cary. She has been a resident of Whitewater all her life. On December 30, 1938, Corinne married Donald L. Edwards in Little Prairie, Wisconsin. Donald preceded her in death on February 13, 1972. On January 6, 1990, she married Thane Harley Earle in Whitewater, Wisconsin.Corinne was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Whitewater and was involved with church activities and the SHARE Food Program. She also served as a Girl Scout Leader. Surviving are: Husband: Thane H. Earle, Whitewater, WI, Son: Roger L. (Barbara) Edwards, Richland Center, WI, Daughter: Bunny Veium, Whitewater, WI, Daughter: Gayle (Donald) Quass, Whitewater, WI, Son: Gary Edwards, Janesville, WI, Daughter: Tina (Jay) Boss, Delavan, WI, Step-Son: Dennis L. (Gail) Earle, Delavan, WI, Step-Son: Rodney D. (Jeanette) Earle, Janesville, WI, Thirteen Grandchildren, Seventeen Great-Grandchildren and Three Great-Great-Grandchildren, and a Sister: Ethel Batz, Janesville, WI. Corinne was preceded in death by her first husband; Donald, a daughter Sandy Cassady, a sister; Ada Neuman and a brother; Wayne Cary. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, January 25, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church, Whitewater, Wisconsin with Rev. Glenn Skatrud officiating. Burial will be in the Little Prairie Cemetery, Town of Troy, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 10AM on Monday at the church until the services. Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater is assisting the family
