Obituary of Gerald Loren Braman

Gerald �Big Ger� Loren BRAMAN, age 80, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at the University Hospitals, in Madison, WI. Gerald was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 30, 1929, the son of Gerald F. and Rose (Hake) Braman. He served his country in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean Conflict. On October 25, 1957, Gerald married Eleanor Linman in Monmouth, Illinois. Gerald was a very generous and kind man who lived a life full of love, laughter and humor. He enjoyed fishing and hunting at "The Cabin" in Eagle River, reading, dancing, and the company of family. He took special enjoyment in going out for breakfast at "Soup's On". � Surviving are: Wife: Eleanor Braman, Fort Atkinson, WI, Daughter: Cynthia (Mike) Miller, Jefferson, WI, Son: Todd (Cheryl) Braman, Minneapolis, MN, Son: Christopher Braman, Washington DC, Daughter: Laura (Andrew) Braman-Wanek, Madison, WI, Grandchildren: Mackenzye Miller, Gaia Braman-Wanek, Wyatt Braman, Alex Braman and Isaiah Braman. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Audrey Braman and Beverly Findlay and a nephew Brian Findlay. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at 2:00PM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bryan Engfer officiating, followed by military rites. Friends may call after 1:00PM on Tuesday at the Nitardy Funeral Home until the services.
