Obituary of Beatrice Barbara Rolland

Beatrice Barbara ROLLAND, age 85, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin,passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2010, at her home. Beatrice was born on June 3, 1924, the daughter of Leif Paul and Viola Beatrice Eriksen. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1942. She attended the Methodist School of Nursing in Madison and graduated from an MATC Business Course. Beatrice married Charles Rolland in 1945, he preceded her in death in 1979. She worked as a clerk typist/graphic artist for the Highsmith Co. Beatrice enjoyed painting, crafts, writing poetry, some of which was published, music, especially the piano and reading. Surviving are: Three Sons: Charles (Sandra) Rolland, KY, Eric (Cheryl) Rolland, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Daniel Rolland, CA, Four Grandchildren and Five Great-Grandchildren and a sister-in-law: Jean Eriksen, West Bend, WI. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, a son Russell, and a brother Leif Eriksen. Private family services will be held. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson is assisting the family
