Wilbur Allen WIEDENHOEFT, age 79, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at the Fairhaven Retirement Community in Whitewater, WI.
Wilbur was born in Whitewater, Wisconsin on August 4, 1930, the son of Bernard and Minnie (Wagner) Wiedenhoeft. On August 7, 1954, Wilber married Esther June Hoge at the First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater. Wilbur operated a dairy farm in the Whitewater area from 1948 until 1968. He then worked for 24 years at General Motors in Janesville, retiring in October of 1991. Wilbur was a member of the First English Lutheran Church and the Future Farmers of America.
Surviving are: Wife: Esther Wiedenhoeft, Whitewater, WI, Three Sons: Kenneth (Danielle) Wiedenhoeft, Whitewater, WI, Jeffrey (Cindy) Wiedenhoeft, Whitewater, WI, and Scott (Tammy) Wiedenhoeft, Whitewater, WI,
Six Grandchildren: Aiden, Star, Thera, Chad, Jason and Matthew, Three Great-Grandchildren: Morgan, Ethan and Devin, Two Brothers: Wayne (Joy) Wiedenhoeft, Rockford, IL, and Keith (Lois) Wiedenhoeft, CA. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 1, 2010, at 11:00AM at the First English Lutheran Church with burial in the Hillside Cemetery, Whitewater Wisconsin.
Friends may call after 9:00AM on Monday at the church until the services.
