Obituary of Raymond Earl Trost

Raymond Earl TROST, age 47, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, left this world on March 9, 2010 and is now present with the Lord. Ray was born on September 24, 1962, the son of Daniel F. Trost and Beverly (Quesnell) Trost. Ray was a life long learner. He graduated from St. Francis High School in 1980 and received an Associate Degree in Police Science from MATC in Milwaukee. He attended UW-Whitewater for two years. Ray served with the St. Francis Police Department from 1986 until 1991. In 1991 Ray was hired with the Whitewater Police Department where he served as detective, patrol sergeant, unified tactics instructor, drug unit and FTO. On July 1998, Ray married Jean Gagliano in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Ray loved His Lord, fishing, and hunting. Surviving are: Wife: Jean Trost, Whitewater, WI, Two Daughters: Sara L. (Chad) Simes, LaGrange, WI, and Katie M. Thone, Milwaukee, WI, and Son: Daniel R. Trost, Whitewater, WI, Mother: Beverly Trost, St. Francis, WI, Father: Daniel Trost, Glendale, WI, Sister: Dot (Mike) Spanheimer, Stone Bank, WI, Brother: Matthew (Jane Pilsworth) Trost, LaFarge, WI, Sister: Nancy (Glenn) Carriveau, Brookfield, WI, and Brother: Peter (Laura) Trost, St. Francis, WI. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ray was preceded in death by his step-father Jerry Kasprzyk. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 15, 2010, at 2:00PM in the Hamilton Room at the UW-Whitewater-James R. Connor University Center with Pastor Darrel Schrock officiating. Friends may call after 9:30AM on Monday in the Hamilton Room at the University Center until the services. In lieu of flowers a Raymond Trost Memorial Fund has been established at the First Citizens Bank in Whitewater. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater is assisting the family
