Obituary of Blanche Louise Trewyn

Blanche Louise Trewyn, 99, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Fairhaven Retirement Community, Whitewater, WI. Blanche was born on August 11, 1910 in the Town of Sullivan to Edward and Mabel (Schreiber) Zimmerman. She married Harold Trewyn on March 22, 1933. Harold preceded her in death on June 5, 1972. Blanche was very active at the Congregational United Church of Christ, Whitewater and helped with meal preparations for different events. She enjoyed needle point, knitting, arts and crafts. Surviving are her Daughter: Dorothy Nelson, Whitewater, WI, Son: Ron(Marcy) Trewyn, Manhattan, KS, Son-in-Law: Tom Prosser, Neenah, WI, Grandchildren; Lori (Corby) Nelson Schmidt, Ryan (Galina) Nelson, Lynn Nelson Miller, Jim (Lori) Prosser, Pam (Bart) Prosser Armstrong, Kari (Jim) Prosser Acton, Lorna (Don) Trewyn Armstrong. Blanche is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter; Nancy Kay Prosser, sister, Ruth Benner and brothers; Harry, Emery, Bob, Lloyd and Gene Zimmerman. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at 1100am at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 130 S. Church St., Whitewater, WI., with Rev. Craig Jan-McMahon officiating. Burial will take place in the Hillside Cemetery, located in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Friends may call at the church from 10:00am until the time of the service.
