Obituary of Robert Carl Wendt

Robert Carl WENDT, age 91, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at Brook Gardens, in Lake Mills, WI. Robert was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on May 10, 1919, the son of Reinhold and Elizabeth (Markgraff) Wendt. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. On January 27, 1945, Robert married Mildred Emma Thorman in Fort Atkinson. Mildred preceded him in death on September 29, 2005. Surviving are: Son: Ron (Dolores) Wendt, Verona, WI, Daughter: Darlene (Peter) Hunt, Fort Atkinson, WI, Brother: Raymond Wendt, Fort Atkinson, WI, Sister: Frances Northey, Fort Atkinson, WI, Grandchildren: Yvonne (Kyle) Munro, Scott (Jodi) Hunt, Jennifer Wendt, and Ronald Wendt, and Great-Grandchildren: Madeline, Morgan, Mikaela, and Mason. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Evans Wendt, Frederick Wendt, Rose Reuterskiold, Lillian Hebbe, Viola Brandt and Florence Alexander. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010, at 10:30AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson with Rev. Bryan Engfer officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 9:30AM on Saturday at the church until the services.
