Obituary of Kerry Lee Brokmeier

Kerry Lee BROKMEIER, age 39, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, died October 16, 2010, at his home in Fort Atkinson, WI. Kerry was born in Fort Atkinson, WI on March 16, 1971, the son of Eugene L. "Gus" and Dianne M. (Sievert) Brokmeier. Kerry attended St. Paul's School, Lakeside Lutheran, Fort Atkinson High School, and MATC, Fort Atkinson. Kerry was a cook at Cold Spring Inn until 1994 prior to his snowmobile accident, December, 1994, which left him disabled. Kerry very much enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish. In recent years Kerry enjoyed being outside listening to the radio, fishing, and sitting in the sunshine. Surviving are: Daughter: Cassandra Barnes, and her mother: Kelli Barnes, Fort Atkinson, WI, Father: Eugene "Gus" Brokmeier, Fort Atkinson, WI, Sister: Sharon Brokmeier, Fort Atkinson, WI, Brother: Ken (Susanne) Brokmeier, Brookings, SD, Sister: Sue (Jim) Boulden, Watertown, WI, Sister: Nancy Brokmeier, DeForest, WI, Sister: Becky Brokmeier, Fort Atkinson, WI, nieces and nephews: Rachel,Seth, & Hannah Brokmeier and Alison, Eric, and Nathan Boulden, many other aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends at Willow Court, and his fishing friend the last few years, Wendy Hinkforth. Kerry was preceded in death by his mother: Dianne Brokmeier. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 21, 2010, at 11AM at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, located in Fort Atkinson, WI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson from 5-7PM, and from 10AM until the time of service on Thursday at the church. Those wishing an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial contribution for an Educational Trust set up for Kerry�s daughter at Badger Bank, or to Rainbow Hospice, or St. Paul�s Ev. Lutheran Church.
