Obituary of Charlene Marie Ortelle

Charlene Marie �Ault� Ortelle 64, died Friday October 29th, 2010 at St. Mary�s Medical Center surrounded by her family members after a brief illness. Charlene was born January 22, 1946 to Ervin and Florence (Brown) Ault in Monroe WI. She married Ron Ortelle on November 7th, 1964. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1964 and continued her education at UW Whitewater. She was employed at Fairhaven for 24 years. Charlene was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid NASCAR and football fan. Charlene is survived by daughters Dawn Dempsey and Tammie Ortelle, grandchildren Brandy and Bailey Dempsey and Justin Ortelle; brothers Phil (Victoria) and Gary (Barb) of Alaska, sisters Cheryl (David) Lewallen WI and Pamila (Paul) Majewski of Madison; sisters in-law Connie (Jerry) Jansen of Fort Atkinson and Bonnie Ault of Fort Atkinson; daughter in-law to Leone Ortelle of Fort Atkinson; and is also survived by many family and friends. Preceding her in death were her infant son Bradley, her parents; brothers: Arlen, Ronnie, Cliff, and Larry. Visitation will be held at Nitardy Funeral Home in Fort Atkinson Tuesday November 2nd, 2010 from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday November 3, 2010 at 11am at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson�with visitation an hour prior. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU staff at Fort Atkinson Healthcare staff in Fort Atkinson, to the Med Flight team, and the ICU staff at St. Mary�s Hospital. And a special thank you to Dr. Kontny and Dr. Steven Riggs.
