Obituary of David Earl Kreklow

David Earl KREKLOW, age 87, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at Alden Estates of Countryside, in Jefferson, WI. David was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on August 29, 1923, the son of Herman and Henrietta (Schrank) Kreklow. On November 8, 1947, Dave married Beverly Jane Hathaway in Cambridge, Wisconsin. In his early years, Dave had his own milk route in the Cold Spring area and he worked at Jones Dairy Farm in Fort Atkinson until his retirement. Dave was an active member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Cold Spring, Wisconsin. He was a member of the St. John�s Men�s Club, he served on the church council and was involved with many of the church offices. Dave was a member of the Lakeside Lutheran Men�s Club and for many years managed the Cold Spring Cemetery Association. Surviving are: Wife: Beverly Kreklow, Fort Atkinson, WI, Son: Richard J. Kreklow, Madison, WI, Granddaughter: Courtney Kreklow, Madison, WI, Sister: Marie Carnes, Hebron, WI, Sisters-in-Law: Janet Kreklow, Jefferson, WI and Helen (Gerald) Freson, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Brother-in-Law: Norman (Juanita) Hathaway, Bloomingdale, IL. Dave was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter-in-law, Nancy Kreklow. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, November 15, 2010, at 10:00AM at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Cold Spring, Wisconsin with Rev. Jeffrey Schallert officiating. Friends may call after 9:00AM on Monday at the church until the services.
