Obituary of Viola Mildred Alexander

Viola Mildred ALEXANDER, age 91, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at the Sylvan Crossings in Jefferson, WI. Viola was born on June 12, 1919, the daughter of Otto and Emma (Simdon) Falk. On May 10, 1941, Viola married Robert L. Alexander. Robert preceded her in death on July 7, 1993. Viola and Robert farmed on the family homestead in the Town of Lake Mills until 1986 when they retired and moved to Fort Atkinson. Viola was a life long member of St. James Ev. Lutheran Church in Cambridge and a member of the Townline Mother's Club. �Surviving are: Two Daughters: Carol (James) Roth, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Elaine (Richard) Engelhart, Helenville, WI, Grandchildren: Brian Engelhart, Helenville, WI, Ryan (Michelle) Roth, Plymouth, MI, and Jason (Kiva) Roth, Fort Atkinson, WI, Great-Grandchildren: Jada, Kiele, Kade, and Nicholas, and a Brother: Alvin (Ruth) Falk, Fort Atkinson, WI. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Viola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers: Victor and Arthur and a nephew Wayne Falk. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 18, 2010, at 11:00AM at St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, Cambridge, Wisconsin with Rev. Jeffrey Schallert officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Friends may call from 4-7PM on Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson and after 10AM on Saturday at the church until the services.
