Obituary of Bradley Dresang

Bradley John Dresang

May 4, 1943-May 3, 2022

First son to Willard and Viola, he was born and schooled in the Fox Valley. He attended UW-Madison, eventually earning his MBA. He met and married Patricia in Madison. Following a job, he moved his family to UW-Whitewater. There they raised a son and spent 30 years with the University. As the century closed Brad and Pat went condo in Fort Atkinson. He spent the next 20+ years with grandchildren and personal pursuits. He left with his ducks in a row and his books in order. And if this is all you ever know of him, know that he was both remarkable and unremarkable at the same time. He never stopped learning and he never stopped loving. We will miss him dearly and remember him fondly. Thank you Brad for the good times and all the good examples.

 

My father was a skeptic

who always kept his word.

no deity to do for.

our family to serve.

today his body faltered.

time bests every gird.

midnight passes morning

on the path to rest deserved.
