Obituary of David Lyle Danielson

David Lyle Danielson, age 72, of Jefferson died at his home on February 28, 2011. He was born in Edgerton, WI on November 11, 1938, the son of Melvin and Althea (Salisbury) Danielson. David graduated from Cambridge High School in 1957. Following his graduation he served in the Wisconsin National Guard. He was employed by Schweiger Industries in Jefferson. Following his retirement David served as a volunteer and later a part time employee at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his brother Alan (Patricia) Danielson of Fort Atkinson, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Dorothy Jean Danielson, and his brother Norman Melvin Danielson. David enjoyed the annual deer hunts with his brothers, cousins, and his uncle Lawrence Danielson on the family homestead on Danielson Road in rural Edgerton. David was a life long member of the East Koshkonong Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at East Koshkonong Lutheran Church, 454 E. Church Road, Cambridge, WI with Rev. James Schwarz officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the service at 11:00. Burial will take place at the church cemetery.
