Obituary of John Andrew Jaeckel

John Andrew Jaeckel, 14, Fort Atkinson, left this world unexpectedly on Saturday, February 10, 2018 and went to see his Savior in Heaven. John was born on May 15, 2003 in Fort Atkinson, WI to James and Denise (Malkowski) Jaeckel. He was a freshman student at Fort Atkinson High School. John loved growing up on the farm and was his father's right hand man. He could always be found outdoors with his brother James or driving the farm equipment around. Home was where he longed to be. John had a giving heart and loved adventure. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson. He is survived by his parents; James and Denise; brother, James Jr. and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arnold and Lois Jaeckel and Jerome and Lenore Malkowski; Aunt Lori Reichert; Uncle Keith Malkowski. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 301 S. High St., Fort Atkinson, WI. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, WI. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 4:00-8:00pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Church and on Friday at the church from 9:00am until the time of the service.
