Obituary of Mary E Oshel

Mary Elaine Oshel, 70, of Fort Atkinson went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 15, 2022.

She was born on May 10, 1951, the daughter of Howard and Dorothy Clark of Froid, MT. After graduating from high school, she attended the National College of Business in Rapid City, SD where she met the love of her life, Buddy E. Oshel, and they married June 21, 1970.  They made their home in Onida, SD until they moved to Fort Atkinson, WI in 1972.  After moving to WI they operated a dairy and hog farm and started their family.  In 1993 she started working for the Highsmith company in Fort Atkinson until 2008 when the company was sold. 

Mary was very active in the First Baptist Church of Fort Atkinson in the ladies' group, as a Sunday School teacher, and in many other ministries of the church. 

She is survived by her husband Buddy, daughter Tracy (Matthew) Reid of Fort Atkinson, son Terry (Bethany) Oshel of PA, and son Gary (Laura) Oshel of IA, five grandchildren: Ella, Blake, Madison, Macy, and Logan, two brothers, nieces and nephews, and many friends. 

An afternoon visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Nitardy Funeral Home in Fort Atkinson from 2PM until 4PM.  Funeral services will take place at 11AM on Monday, April 25, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Fort Atkinson with Pastor David Neal officiating.  A visitation will take place on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 10AM until the time of service.  A burial will follow services at Evergreen Cemetery.
