Obituary of Sharon Owsley

Sharon Lee (Rice) Owsley  - January 28, 1946 to March 14, 2022.  Proceeded in death by her life partner Michael Alvin Windisch, parents Edward L. Rice (from Wilton, WI) and Theresa M. Daoust (from Bimidji, MN) and siblings:  John W. Rice, Margaret (Peg) McLaughlin and Ronald Rice.

Survived by sister Paulette R. Szczepanski, Niece Jen (Glenn) Newell, Michael’s daughter, Shelly (Mark) Peterson, longtime friend, Sherry (Jay) Carlin and their families.  Further survived by her wonderful church family at Grace United Church of Fort Atkinson, WI and many other nieces, nephews and friends.

Sharon was a long time Real Estate Broker at Homestead Realty and a Real Estate Instructor at Milwaukee Area Technical College.  She held a Master degree in Theology from Agape Love Bible College. 

Sharon’s positive attitude and giving soul will be missed by many.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30PM on April 2, 2022 at Grace United Church, 1631 Janesville Avenue, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538
