Oh, Mrs. Stewart. Brenda's and my hearts ache for you and the family today. We were so saddened to hear of Mr. Stewart's passing. We have fond memories of Mr. Stewart and his presence in our lives. We have forever had so much respect for him as a father, husband and friend. If there ever was an example for all of mankind to follow and emulate, it would be Mr. Stewart. The memorial video on the website brought tears to our eyes as we recalled our interaction with Mr. Stewart from my childhood to adult years. Three pictures in that video particularly struck our attention. There is one of you and Mr. Stewart looking through the limbs of a tree, which reminded us of Mr. Stewart's love that he had for you and the family, and the happiness that you all brought into his life. The picture of Coach Nehring and him reminded us of the degree to which he took friendships seriously; you knew you had a genuine friend in Mr. Stewart. The parting photo of Mr. Stewart waving from the car which was presumably during a 4th of July parade, showing the smile that he always wore (at least to those of us who had the pleasure of interacting with him or simply bumping into him around town).
We are out of town this weekend at our daughter's basketball game at UWW Stout. We wish we could be at the visitation to support you and the family and to honor Mr. Stewart. But we wanted you and the family to know how much we are thinking of you all today and the days ahead.
