Dear Tom and Family, We were blessed by knowing Debbie, for she enriched our lives in so many ways. I, Marsha, met Debbie many years ago but got to know her better after she retired. She willingly joined our Monday Morning Ladies Bible Study and Tuesday Club at my invitation. She gave herself wholeheartedly to these groups with her wit, her creativity, her talents, her generosity, her love for the Lord and other people. I especially enjoyed visiting with her on Fridays out at Gayle Monson's house while we worked on our various craft projects. Her quilts were so beautiful! She graciously made two quilts for our last two grandchildren. What a gift! Holiday gatherings won't be the same without Debbie's delicious roasted potatoes, rhubarb bars, and other fabulous treats. I will forever miss her kind heart, generous spirit, wonderful sense of humor, intelligent mind, willingness to listen, creative ideas, and faithful friendship. Our hearts are all aching with you. I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Debbie and I were classmates in the class of 1973. Our families were very good friends for many years, and our parents were in various supper clubs together, and the families socialized quite often.
