Chris Rheineck

Obituary of Chris Rheineck

Christopher Thomas Rheineck, lover of his family, his friends, the Vikings, classic Rhythm & Blues, basketball, barbecued ribs, lox & bagels, hugs and his Lord, God, died of accidental causes on June 13, 2021, at the age of 34.

Chris was born in Waukesha, WI and is the middle child of Thomas Rheineck and Elizabeth Nelson. He had an older sister, Elisa, who passed away at age 11 in 1997 and they were inseparable as kids. He also has a younger sister, Kelsey, who he adored as well and did his best to lead her as her big brother after Elisa passed; and a step-brother, Drew, who is 21. In Christopher's short life, he started three different companies and his mind was always focused on what else he could create to meet market (and individual's) needs. He had an endless drive to learn more and then perform it differently; to do something no one else had done or thought of before. Chris memorized music and played the saxophone, piano and guitar "by ear". He was a brilliant mind with a rich, loving soul, gentle spirit and energetic personality. He was employed by Estate Claim Services of Richfield, MN.

Everything Chris did was with zeal - whether it was his running starts to hit the golf ball off the tee or serve the tennis ball; or flying off in the middle of the night to his favorite vacation spots on a whim; Chris did it his way. Chris loved the Lord Jesus Christ and is now at peace with Him and his sister in heaven. Even in his most challenging moments and life-situations, Chris would text or call his family members the most encouraging Bible passages and spiritual song links. He was a bright light that burned out too quickly. Christopher will be missed deeply and dearly by his family and friends.

Christopher is survived by his mother Elizabeth and father Thomas and step-mother Tracy, as well as his sister Kelsey, step-brother Drew, his grandparents Paul and Esther Nelson and Loren Rheineck; as well as aunts, uncles and numerous cousins on both sides of his family. He is preceded in death by his sister Elisa and his beloved grandmother, Betty Rheineck.

A private burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson.
