Obituary of Barbara Ellen Gowey

Barbara Ellen (Fraser) Gowey, 85, Whitewater, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

Barbara was born July 3, 1935 to Cyril and Sylvia Fraser. She met her spouse, Dennis Gowey, in 1958 while attending Madison business-college to become a stenographer. After their marriage in 1959, she went on to raise 5 children.

She is survived by her husband Dennis Gowey, and her children Charles Gowey and Sandra Rasmussen. Barbara is predeceased by her siblings, Ross Fraser and Janet Hobbs, and her children Douglas, Rochelle and Patricia Gowey,

At this time, there are no services.  A burial will take place at Big Mound Cemetery in Davis Junction, Illinois.
