We were new to Ripview in 2015, while sitting under the trees by the lake, a golf cart pulls up next to us with two gals in it and
said "Welcome to the Hood"!! It was Judy and Sonja..enjoyed many Sunday evening chats by the lake. We all miss her great
smile and that visor hat :) Peace to all..Jan and Denny Rusch #53

Thanks to Judy's family for putting together the wonderful tribute video. Judy's twinkling eyes and generous smile reveal the love and happiness and plain old fun and laughter she brought to the world. I remember well the many nights of playing cards late into the night at Tom and Fran Dickert's farm house. Judy's love of cards and her fierce competitive spirit kept her at the card table while her husband Russ snored loudly while collapsed in the overstuffed arm chair next to the pot-bellied stove. My heart warms to the fond memories of and sounds as: Judy shuffled the cards for just "one more game," Russ opened one eye and pleaded with Judy to drive him home and their daughter Sirena's infectious laugh filled the old farm house kitchen with the telling of another funny story. Thank you all for helping make those years some of the best of my life and for all of the other people who were fortunate enough to have wandered on a Friday night into the love and laughter of of that special kitchen. I love you all and thanks for the memories. Peace, Howard Olson--Cambridge, Wisconsin

Howard, Thank you so much for the memories. How in the world we forgot to put in mom's obituary her love of playing cards is almost a crime, it was her favorite thing to do. She loved telling stories about going to your house for wild game meals. She would point out your house, every time we drove by it. She cherished your friendship, and talked about you often. Fondly Jody Jacobson Ketter
