Obituary of Roberta Ann Maas

Roberta Maas, age 63, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. 

She was born in Fort Atkinson, WI on March 12, 1956 and graduated from Fort Atkinson Senior High School in 1974.  She was an avid softball player in Fort Atkinson in her youth.  She had a passion for her cocker spaniel dogs, two in the family and two of her own.  She loved birds, nature, traveling, photography, metal detecting, etc.  Roberta was also talented at stained glass and woodworking and was exceptional at gift wrapping.  She had an eye for color and beautiful, unique things.  While at the Beaver Dam Health Care Center, she developed interests in reading, politics, jigsaw puzzles and again, craft making. 

Roberta worked at the First National Bank in Fort Atkinson, the U.S. Post Office in New Berlin and at Spacesaver Corporation in Fort Atkinson. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helen Maas, as well as her sister, Janet Maas Riedl (Rich).  She is survived by her siblings: Herb Maas (Renee), Eileen Maas Regan (John) and Mary Maas.  She will be greatly missed by family, friends and residents/staff at Beaver Dam Health Care Center.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the staff and doctors at Beaver Dam Health Care Center, Beaver Dam Hospital, UW-Madison Hospital and Clinics, and Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.
