Obituary of Grant Rinden

Grant Evan Rinden, 29, Fort Atkinson passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 in Kenosha, WI after losing his battle with drug addiction.

Grant was born on December 2, 1989 in Fort Atkinson to James S and Lauralyn (Lang) Rinden.  He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 2008 and attended MATC.  Grant excelled in athletics and enjoyed playing sports.  He also enjoyed baking, hiking and spending time with his family.  His children were the love of his life.

He is survived by his children Jasper and Rhayven Rinden; mother Lauralyn Rinden, Fort Atkinson; father James S. (Kim) Rinden, Warrens, WI; sister Mary Rinden, Fort Atkinson; step-brother Devon Birmingham, Nashville, TN; grandparents James (Susan) Rinden, Fort Atkinson, William Lang, Fort Atkinson; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother Judith Lang; Uncle David Lang.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 11:00am at Nitardy Funeral Home 1008 Madison Ave. Fort Atkinson, WI 53538.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00am until the time of the service. 

Grant was the sweetest person and was known by many as a gentle giant.  The family would like to thank Pastor Jonathan Jameson and his wife Linda for their support and love that they showed Grant by welcoming him into their home.
