Obituary of Sue Knaack

Marion “Sue”  E. Knaack, 90, Fort Atkinson passed away on Tuesday January 22, 2019 surrounded by her family, including her great-granddaughter Auburn, at her home.

Sue was born on April 7, 1928 in Oakland Center, WI to William and Ella (Lubke) Krebs.  She married Clarence Knaack on March 22, 1947.   Sue was employed for 25 years at Moore Sea Foods in Fort Atkinson.  She enjoyed traveling to Florida with Clarence and she loved birdwatching, camping and reading the Bible.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and her family dogs Buggsie and Ollie. 

She is survived by her children Sharon (Bob) Wintlend, Clarence “Butch” (Kathy) Knaack, Bunnie (Joe) Zimberick, Cindy  Rortvedt, Kathy (Don) Cavanna; daughters-in-law Holly Knaack and Kathy Knaack; grandchildren Robert (Sheila) Wintland Jr., Heather (Shaun) Strassburg, Stacey (Brad) Arnett, Rhonda (Sterling) Kienbaum, Trevor (Paula) Knaack, Lanna (Richard) Angle, Tanya (Michael) Griffin, Krista (Richard) Davids, Jamy Knaack, Josie (Rob) Kincaid, Sandy Boswell, Pattie (Bill) Harmon, Connie (Michael) Biksacky, Bobbie Sue  (Matt) Riley, Chase (Jennifer) Herro, Sommer Herro, Racheal and Chris Coy-Lewis, Donald Knaack, Nicki Coy; 6  brothers and sisters.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; sons Ricky, David, Jeff and Roger Knaack; great-granddaughter Chloe Knaack; 7 brothers and sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 11:00am at the First Congregational United Church of Christ 31 W. Milwaukee St. Fort Atkinson, WI 53538.  A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 3:00-5:00pm at Nitardy Funeral Home 1008 Madison Ave Fort Atkinson, WI 53538 and on Monday at the church from 10:00am until the time of the service.
