Robert (Rob) Guttenberg

Robert Allen Guttenberg, 47, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly on December 14^th, 2018 as the result of a cardiac incident.

Rob was born along with his twin brother Craig on March 9, 1971 at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital, the son of the late James and Sandra (Ellis) Guttenberg.

After spending most of his childhood in Fort Atkinson, Rob joined the Marines and served from 1989 to 1993. His enlistment included service overseas during the Gulf War in 1991.

Rob enjoyed fixing things and helping others, turning his passions into a successful auto repair facility in Madison.

Rob is survived by his soulmate and the love of his life, Erin Huebner of Columbus; mother Sandra (David) Magsamen of Fort Atkinson; brothers Craig (Dana) Guttenberg of Fort Atkinson and Jay (Leslie) Guttenberg of Black River Falls; and seven nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father James Guttenberg.

 

Final arrangements are being processed by Nitardy Funeral Home in Fort Atkinson.
