My deepest sympathies to the family & Friends. Mr. Andrysiak was my favorite teacher all 4 years. I always looked forward to his class. And learned so much from him both in & out of School. Every year I looked forward to seeing his name on my class list at the start of the school year. I have missed many teachers but Mr. Andrysiak was the most Special of them all. I will miss him very much. My deepest condolences to the family & friends.

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Andrysiak's death. He was by far one of my favorite teachers at Reavis High School. I was in his honors English class my sophomore year, first period. He was usually late and asking, "Anybody got Certs?"
He was a courageous teacher, having us read "The Autobiography of Malcolm X" by Alex Haley. Some students stopped reading after taking "blue-eyed devils" too personally, but he opened students' eyes to other ways of thinking and seeing our world.
He had great extra credit questions on exams. One of them was: Name the actress who played Maleva, the gypsy fortuneteller in "The Wolf Man."
It was Maria Ouspenskaya. To this day, I remember her name, her famous lines from the movie and always think of Mr. Andrysiak and I smile.
He sponsored every student who did the 30-mile walk for hunger that year, including me.
Please accept my sincerest sympathy.

Our friend, Ted, left us peacefully after a valiant fight to maintain his life, but as he deteriorated he showed us courage, generosity of spirit and gratitude. The ones we love will always live in our hearts. Joe and Mary Ann Fronczak

Mr. Andrysiak was my most favorite teacher at Reavis.... I had perfect attendance all year until sometime in May when I got sick. I was out for 4 days. When I had returned, Mr. Andrysiak gave me a news paper article on the illness that I had. He was very caring. The world is going to miss him. My heart and prayers goes out to his family and friends.

I found out this past evening that Mr. A passed away.
He was truly, one of the BEST teachers I have ever had! The last time I had seen him, was March 2011 while I was home on R&R from Afghanistan. I recognized him right away, and he had a smile from ear to ear. And his wife said, “he’ll be taking about this all the back home to Wisconsin.”
RIP Good sir, I will never forget you.

We will truly miss Ted's great smile and teriffic mind. When the guys would get together he sometimes showed that twinkle in his eye, turned on his smile, and would say "lets play Trivial Pursuit". We would say sure, but it you against the rest of us! We probably wouldn't win anyway.
Take good care of yourself Nancy, You are a wonderful, strong woman.
Love,
Jerry and Nancy

I pondered over what would be the most memorable moments in Ted's life. I am a friend since 3rd grade and we shared many wonderful times together. I could probably write a book; but I feel the best and most important event in Ted's life was meeting Nancy. I am sure his love for her and Teddy gave him the strength to take on all the health issues he had. As for me, if you understand what having a true friend means then you can understand how I feel with his loss. He was everything a true friend could be. I am sure we will again in heaven. May God bless and comfort his soul and the lives of his family.

Our dear friend for over 60 years faced life with a smile and provided all who had the good fortune to know him an example of facing adversity with courage. We shall never forget the leader of the Magnificent Seven. God bless and watch over his dear wife Nancy.
