Obituary of Lucille Margaret Punzel

Lucille Margaret Punzel, 92, Lake Mills passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Alden Estates in Jefferson.

Lucille was born on November 14, 1925 in the Town of Lake Mills to Herman and Hattie (Schultz) Henke.  She married Lynn Punzel on August 11, 1945 at St. John’s Lutheran, Newville, WI. He preceded her in death on November 4, 2003.  Lucille and Lynn owned and operated a dairy farm between Lake Mills and Cambridge.  After their retirement Lucille and Lynn enjoyed traveling.  She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and gardening. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Cambridge.

She is survived by her children Gerald (Bonnie) Punzel, DeForest, WI, Ronald (Vickie) Punzel, Jefferson; grandchildren Phil (Janelle) Punzel, Pamela (Gary) Grygiel, Kelly (Aaron) Oughton, Joshua (Jessica) Punzel, Samuel Punzel, Mercades Punzel, Dionna Punzel, Nartavio Punzel; great-grandchildren Eliza, Zebedee, Hezekiah, Claire, Leah, Reagan, Miles.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; brothers, George and Harold Henke; sister, Margaret Kulow.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 11:00am at St. James Lutheran Church, 413 E. North St. Cambridge, WI with Rev. Jeffrey Schallert officiating.  Burial will follow at the Kroghville Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
