Obituary of Lucy Jo Riggs

Lucy Jo Riggs, 77, of Fort Atkinson passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018.

Lucy was born on July 12, 1941 in Griffin, Georgia to Jack Upshaw Garrett and Onie Mae (McKemie) Durkee. 

On October 15, 1960, she married Duane E. Riggs in Fort Atkinson and together they had six children.

Lucy was a member of St. Peter Episcopal Church.

She is predeceased by her parents, Jack (Winifred) Garrett and Onie Mae Durkee; son, Michael D. Riggs; and mother-in-law, Lenore G. Riggs.

Lucy is survived by her five children, Scott (Leanne) Riggs of Elkhorn, Mark (Lisa) Riggs of Fort Atkinson, Stephen (Jennifer) Riggs of Fort Atkinson, Colin Riggs of Fort Atkinson, Kelly Riggs of Lodi, California; five grandchildren, Devin, Aidan and Paige Riggs of Fort Atkinson, Brady Riggs of Fort Atkinson, Alexander Riggs of Elkhorn; two brothers, Jack C. Garrett of Fort Atkinson, Preston V. Garrett of Griffin Georgia; and  two sisters, Kim Garrett of Atlanta,  Georgia, Susan Garrett of Atlanta, Georgia.

Private family services are being held at a later time.
