LeRoy Richard Carlson of Whitewater, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Sunset Ridge of Jefferson Wisconsin. He had been struggling with Lewy Bodies Dementia for 3 years.
LeRoy was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 24, 1940. He graduated from Southern Illinois University and taught woodshop in Wheaton, Illinois. Although LeRoy lived in the Whitewater area for half his life he remained an avid Chicago sports fan. He cheered and jeered countless Bears, Cubs and Bulls game from his recliner. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, bowling, softball, pool and ping pong as well as mowing lawn in the sun and relaxing on the pontoon boat on Whitewater Lake with an icy beverage.
